The Town Board has been working diligently in getting an area prepared for compost for the Town of Little Suamico residents and while it won’t be perfect starting out they will be opening it this Saturday. Please read below.
The newly opening Compost Center is located at Recycling Center at 6297 Allen Road. A Resident Compost Card is required and can be purchased at the Recycle Center for a $30.00 per year fee. Town of Little Suamico residents can bring stones, brush, grass clippings, leaves, and other yard compost to the town Compost Center. See a Compost Supervisor so your compost is put in its proper place. The compost card must be presented to the compost supervisor when entering and using the site.
The compost site is open on SATURDAYS ONLY from 7:30am-12pm will open from May to November.
NO CONTRACTOR DUMPING ALLOWED.
